Old and new from far and wide, July 2016

Hello, we hope your week is going great on this first day in July. Take a look at what friends and other blogger are up to currently or have done in the past. So much information from older posts on just about every blog, today I am sharing these.....

You can make a wonderful smelling simmering air freshener from ingredients you can pull from your pantry, rosemary, a sliced lemon and a bit of vanilla. This works great for a mini crockpot also.

Don't spend a fortune on special cleaners for your glass top stove, you can make the best cleaner from ingredients you have at home. I know from experience that keeping a glass top stove looking nice, is challenging at times.

From our own archives at, Such a busy backyard!

Spring time means dandelions. They are more beneficial than one might think and the star ingredient in this salve.   This is wonderful to soothe dry skin on your hands after working in the yard and garden, as well as massaging those sore muscles.

Turn an old tee shirt into a tote bag, with no sewing needed! I love re-usable bags, and this one even young ones can make.

Do you have this leafy plant in your backyard? I see this everywhere, glad to know it is so helpful. I enjoy learning about using things found in nature to heal and keep us healthy.
